Role Overview
As a Business Development Executive, you will be the driving force behind our growth. Your primary mission is to identify, engage, and secure new client partnerships with companies requiring permanent and/or contingent staffing solutions. You will be a "hunter," responsible for the full sales cycle - from prospecting to closing, while building a pipeline that aligns with our core service offerings. Success in this role means exceeding sales targets, establishing long‑term client relationships, and contributing directly to the company's revenue and market share.
Responsibilities
- New Business Acquisition: Actively prospect, qualify, and secure new client accounts through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking events, and leveraging existing connections.
- Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. Conduct consultative needs‑analysis meetings (virtual and in‑person) to understand client pain points.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent activity to meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets.
- Market Intelligence: Serve as a market expert in your vertical. Identify industry trends, key players, and emerging opportunities to position Humana as a thought leader.
- Solution Selling: Collaborate with our recruitment delivery teams to create and present compelling, tailored proposals that address specific client hiring challenges.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong, trusted relationships with key decision‑makers (e.g., HR Directors, Talent Acquisition Managers, Hiring Managers, CTOs/CFOs).
- Strategy Contribution: Provide feedback from the market to help shape service offerings, marketing strategies, and pricing models.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 1+ years of proven B2B sales/business development experience, or in the recruitment/staffing industry.
- A verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and KPIs.
- Demonstrated "hunter" mentality with expertise in cold outreach and new business generation.
- Excellent understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and client staffing models (contingent, retained, MSP, RPO).
- Superior communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self‑motivated, resilient, and results‑oriented with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
