To actively drive sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and achieving volume and revenue targets through effective outdoor sales efforts within the container shipping industry.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify and approach potential customers to promote company services; conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities; prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to clients.
- Account Management & Customer Relationship: Manage and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business; conduct regular visits to customers to provide a personalized service and gather feedback; address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints effectively; prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and progress updates; monitor sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as necessary; maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and sales documentation; coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of service; provide feedback from customers to improve services and develop tailored solutions; negotiate pricing, contract terms, and agreements with customers; close sales effectively to meet or exceed revenue targets; post-sales follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and business retention.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outdoor sales, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess own transportation and willing to travel frequently.
