Job summary

An engineering solutions provider in Malaysia is looking for a Sales Engineer to develop relationships with customers in the semiconductor sector. You will identify business opportunities, propose suitable engineering solutions, prepare quotations, negotiate projects, and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in engineering and has at least 2 years of experience in sales within engineering. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

What you’ll be doing

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in the semiconductor and engineering sectors.

Identify potential business opportunities and build long‑term strategic partnerships.

Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable engineering solutions.

Prepare quotations, follow up on proposals, and negotiate with customers to secure projects.

Collaborate closely with the engineering and project teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends and competitor activities.

Contribute to marketing initiatives, proposal preparations, and company branding efforts.

What we’re looking for

Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Electrical, or related field).
