Business & Corporate Banking - Community Business

To grow community businesses around the branch, providing financial services to SME. Establish a relationship with the businesses and provided a better customer experience to this segment of branch customers to improve branch profitability and sales performance.

Responsibilities
Functional

Grow the Existing-to-Bank (ETB) SME portfolio (Sole Proprietors, Partnerships, Sdn Bhd with AST < RM50m) to increase product holdings and profitability.

Acquire New-to-Bank (NTB) SME customers through community visits, roadshows, and branch-based sales activities.

Drive ETB and NTB growth across a wide range of bank products.

Understand SME lending requirements to acquire, evaluate, and submit loan applications.

Collaborate closely with Branch Managers and Area Manager to expand SME segment penetration and profitability.

Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies, including FSA, KYC, AMLA, and all sales governance standards.

Managerial

CBM will continue to be the SME content expert for the branch and be the conduit between HQ and the rest of the sales force;

The CBM will partner the branch manager to collectively grow the SME competency for the SME sales.

Organizational

Participate and display team work in all aspect of work, projects and assignments, Group Management

Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:
  • Minimum recognized Degree;
  • Competency in Microsoft Words, Excel & Outlook;
  • All other certificate/ licenses for credit/ insurance and Investment Certificate.
  • Min 3 years in sales experience, or;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in SME lending (products, evaluation of business viability, basic understanding of company balance sheet and P&L) or min 3 years in sales experience.
