Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Business Controller to lead the end-to-end finance function. This role will oversee all financial operations, drive commercial finance initiatives, and partner closely with the General Manager to support strategic decision‑making. The ideal candidate is a strong business partner, commercially astute, and capable of managing diverse stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Leadership & Operations

Lead and manage the full spectrum of finance activities, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, month‑end closing, reporting, and internal controls.

Oversee accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all financial deliverables.

Ensure robust governance, risk management, and adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

2. Commercial Finance & Business Partnering

Provide commercial insights and analysis to drive business performance and profitability.

Support pricing strategies, margin analysis, investment modeling, and scenario planning.

Partner closely with the General Manager to support strategic business decisions and long‑term planning.

Develop and present financial insights to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

3. Team Management

Lead, coach, and develop a finance team of 4–6 members, ensuring strong performance, capability building, and continuous improvement.

Foster a collaborative and high‑performance finance culture.

4. Stakeholder Management

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across operations, sales, marketing, and supply chain.

Influence stakeholders to drive alignment, financial discipline, and accountability.

Manage relationships with auditors, external partners, and other relevant third parties.

5. Process Improvement & Systems

Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, reporting frameworks, and systems.

Identify opportunities for automation and increased efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) highly preferred.

8+ years of progressive experience in finance, with strong exposure to commercial finance and business controlling.

Proven experience leading teams and managing finance operations end‑to‑end.

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and influence decision‑making across all levels.
