Job description

We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Business and Operation Planner to join BIOVISMA SDN BHD. This full‑time role is based in Ipoh, Perak, and plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and optimising our Used Cooking Oil (UCO) collection and logistics operations.

You will be responsible for translating operational data into practical execution plans, including UCO collection route planning based on collection frequency and volume, daily coordination with drivers, and effective management of UCO sellers (Points of Origin). This role requires strong computer literacy, planning discipline, and the ability to manage both systems and people in a fast‑moving operational environment.

The position works closely with management and cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient incoming and outgoing UCO flow, strong seller relationships, accurate reporting, and continuous operational improvement aligned with our sustainability and circular economy mission.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Developing and implementing business and operational plans to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost control
  • Planning and optimising UCO collection routes based on frequency, location, and volume
  • Coordinating daily operations with drivers to ensure timely and reliable collection schedules
  • Managing UCO sellers (Points of Origin), including service planning, communication, and loyalty programme administration
  • Overseeing incoming and outgoing UCO logistics, inventory movement, and traceability records
  • Monitoring key operational performance indicators and identifying areas for process improvement
  • Preparing monthly operational and performance reports for the management team
  • Analysing operational data, market trends, and customer demand to support business growth
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams on procurement, inventory planning, and logistics coordination
  • Supporting the implementation and use of digital systems and tools to streamline operations

  • Proven experience in business planning, operations, logistics, or transport management
  • Strong understanding of route planning, logistics coordination, and operational execution
  • High level of computer literacy, including spreadsheets and operational systems
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including driver and vendor coordination
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with management teams
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or related fields
