A leading fintech solutions provider based in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Analyst to coordinate software testing and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in IT and strong skills in software QA methodologies along with fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese. Coordinate with users on the integration and testing of new enhancements, bug fixes, and data patches.
Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
Screen and review system bug and data patching tickets to ensure the content is actionable for the development team.
Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software applications and IT systems.
Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and enhance system performance.
Conduct manual testing as required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Act as the key interface between the IT application team, relevant internal departments, and external vendors.
Prepare regular reports on the status, statistics, and progress of system enhancements, bug fixes, and data patches.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Information Systems, or related field.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development environment a plus.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience in manual software testing.
Passionate about supporting the development of IT systems and applications.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
Ability to multi-task and manage in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin/Cantonese to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking internal or external parties.
Willing to work during local Public Holiday.
