A marketing agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive Key Account Executive / Junior Key Account Manager. This role involves supporting client onboarding, coordinating operations, and monitoring account performance. Candidates must be proficient in Mandarin and English, and experience in communications or related fields is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments are essential for success in this position.
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Key Account Executive / Junior Key Account Manager to support and manage assigned client accounts.
This role focuses on client onboarding, account coordination, performance tracking, and cross‑department collaboration, ensuring our key clients receive a smooth, professional, and consistent experience throughout the partnership lifecycle.

Support and manage assigned client accounts throughout onboarding and ongoing operations.
Coordinate end‑to‑end client setup, ensuring timelines, requirements, and deliverables are met.
Ensure all client information, documentation, and approvals are accurate, complete, and updated.
Act as a primary coordination point between clients and internal teams for operational matters.
Proactively follow up on pending client requests, issues, or action items to ensure timely resolution.
Work closely with Sales Executives and Senior Key Account Managers to support client relationships.
Assist in client communications, follow‑ups, and coordination when required.
Act as a bridge between clients, sales, finance, operations, and technical teams to ensure alignment.
Coordinate with Finance on billing setup, payment status, and account‑related matters.
Help identify potential risks, issues, or improvement areas within client accounts and escape when necessary.
Monitor basic client account performance, activity, and usage data.
Prepare regular reports related to account status, client activity, and operational performance.
Support management with data and insights for account reviews and business planning.
Assist in improving internal workflows, client processes, and data accuracy to enhance account experience.
This is a Mandarin speaking position; proficiency in verbal and written Mandarin and English is a MUST to effectively communicate with Mandarin speaking clients.
Diploma holder majoring in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, PR, New Media, or related disciplines is an advantage.
Immediate availability is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

Preferably with more than 1 year working experience, but fresh graduates are welcomed too!
