We're Hiring: Business Analyst!

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business processes and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive decision-making.

Role: Business Analyst

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with project sponsor and other stakeholders to refine and prioritize user stories.
  2. Engage with stakeholders to understand business priorities and objectives.
  3. Assist in prioritizing user stories based on business value, dependencies, and constraints.
  4. Maintain a prioritized backlog that reflects the current state of the project and business needs.
  5. Organize and facilitate Agile/Waterfall ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
  6. Ensure the team adheres to Agile/Waterfall principles and practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts, mitigate risks, and make decisions collaboratively.
  8. Coordinate with development teams to prepare for sprint demos.
  9. Present completed user stories and demonstrate functionality to stakeholders.
  10. Gather feedback from stakeholders during sprint demos and incorporate insights into future iterations.
  11. Collaborate with the QA team to develop test plans and test cases for user acceptance testing (UAT).
  12. Assist in executing UAT test cases and validating functionality against user requirements.
  13. Work closely with stakeholders to address any issues identified during UAT and ensure successful resolution.
Requirements

  1. Experience as a Business Analyst in Agile software development environments is a plus
  2. Strong understanding of Agile/Waterfall methodologies and practices is a plus
  3. Proficiency in grooming backlogs, prioritizing user stories, and conducting Agile/Waterfall ceremonies.
  4. Experience in facilitating sprint demos and gathering feedback from stakeholders.
  5. Familiarity with software testing processes and techniques, particularly in the context of user acceptance testing.
  6. Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) is a plus.
  7. Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus.
