Qualifications

  • Maintain all facilities and services equipment in good order.

  • Ensure compliance with EHS standards and safety protocols.
  • Manage stock of spare parts for building equipment.

Building and Facilities – Senior Maintenance Officer
Responsibilities
  • Ensures that all facilities and services equipment is maintained in good order and services as required
  • That his staff (including cleaners) and outside contractors are working according to our established EHS standards. That risk assessments & permits are carried out before commencing work on any project and that the needed precautions and PPEs are worn as accordingly
  • Trains his subordinates in maintaining a good level of the needed skills
  • Ensures that a sufficient stock of spare parts for building equipment and facilities are maintained at all times
  • Directs, controls and motivates his staff to give their best to achieve factory objectives
  • Submits regular reports – a personal daily report & daily department report
  • Maintains up-to-date EAM/SAP planned and preventive maintenance activities
  • Ensures that human relations issues are identified and dealt with promptly and effectively in accordance with company policies
  • Liaises with external suppliers and contractors while keeping Procurements & Finance department informed at all times by e‑mail
  • Any other duties that may be assigned to him by his Superior
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: SPM / Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Building Management; BO Chargeman certification preferred
  • Experience: Minimum five years of working experience in building maintenance or related field
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge in technical and engineering aspects; BO Chargeman competency; Technical Certificate (SKM Level 1/2/3)
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems; Familiarity with building facilities management; Good communication and problem‑solving skills
