Job summary

Sarawak Media Group is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to design graphics, illustrations and visual assets for TV programmes, news, websites, ads and social media. You will develop design concepts and execute projects from concept to completion, ensuring brand consistency.

Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is required; knowledge of 3D design is a plus. You will collaborate across teams, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Multimedia or related field.
• Strong design fundamentals including typography, colour and layout.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Ability to multitask and manage projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design graphics, illustrations, logos and visual assets for TV programmes, news, websites, advertisements, brochures, posters and social media.
• Develop design concepts and execute projects from concept to completion.
• Produce and edit creative materials using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other relevant software.
• Apply strong principles of colour, typography, composition and layout.
• Collaborate with video editors, multimedia designers and other team members to ensure visual consistency.
• Revise designs based on feedback while maintaining brand guidelines.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Keep up with current design trends, techniques and technologies.
• Identify design challenges and propose practical creative solutions.
