Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Brewing Science, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or related field.
• Professional brewing certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in brewing or beverage manufacturing.
• At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a brewery or beverage production environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily brewing activities including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, fermentation, conditioning, and filtration processes.
• Ensure brewing operations follow approved recipes, process parameters and production schedules.
• Monitor brewing performance metrics such as yield, fermentation efficiency, and batch consistency.
• Coordinate brewing schedules to meet production targets and demand forecasts.
• Plan and manage brewing production schedules with packaging and supply chain teams.
• Supervise brewers, assistant brewers, and brewing technicians; provide training and guidance.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement culture.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs for brewing equipment.
• Monitor inventory of malt, hops, yeast, and adjuncts; coordinate with procurement.
