Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a results-driven Packaging Designer to join our team. The role focuses on building branding and identity design and managing digital and print media for product packaging.

You will create packaging designs that are functional and visually appealing, develop logos and icons, and produce 2D layouts and 3D mock-ups for tobacco products. The candidate should be detail-oriented and capable of meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Graphic Design or related role.
• Strong sense of layout and visual aesthetics.
• Proficiency in design software.
• Basic understanding of printing techniques such as Emboss, UV, Hot stamping.
• Able to complete tasks on time.
• Be attentive to detail and take responsibility for your work.
• Be willing to improve and avoid staying stuck in a single design style.

Responsibilities

• Based on company's need, develop packaging designs for products, ensuring that they are both functional and visually appealing.
• Create elements such as logo, icons and other visual assets that will appear on the packaging.
• Create packaging design illustrations and Packaging layout drawings.
• Create tobacco mock-up images, convert the 2D layout into 3D mock-up.
• Create promotional posters for the product launch.
• Responsible for company event posters.
