Job summary

A leading FMCG company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced brand marketer to drive growth for their Carbonated Soft Drinks portfolio. The role involves strategic planning, business tracking, and managing marketing campaigns. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in brand marketing within an FMCG environment and strong project management and communication skills. This position requires a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications

  • Able to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting agendas/requirements.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to take up projects independently.

  • Monitor monthly CSD beverage volume and recommend adjustments.

Job description
Overview
  • Drive volume and share growth for PepsiCo’s Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) portfolio in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei (MAPS).
  • Develop marketing programs for all CSD brands in MAPS
  • Manage and Track CSD A&M spending
  • Liaison with Etika bottler marketing teams to ensure strong execution of marketing programs
  • Work with commercial team to deliver innovation on time and with excellence
Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Planning & Market Execution
    • Develop CSD Market Execution Plans in collaboration with Head of Marketing, based on market and channel dynamics.
    • Create Brand-Building/Marketing Plans, setting brand goals and ongoing action plans.
  2. Business Tracking & Insights
    • Monitor monthly CSD beverage volume and recommend adjustments to meet AOP targets.
    • Analyse Nielsen RI data and consumer digital reactions to assess retail and online performance.
  3. Marketing Campaigns & Promotions
    • Develop communications and localised campaigns to drive consumer excitement and engagement.
    • Plan and execute consumer promotion calendars, evaluate marketing effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
  4. Brand Performance & Consumer Understanding
    • Assess brand health and market share through volume, value, and equity scores.
    • Gather consumer insights on demographics, attitudes, motivations, and behaviours to inform strategy.
  5. Budget, Media & Alignment
    • Manage A&M budget and MFAR tracking to ensure spending aligns with AOP initiatives.
    • Oversee media planning, agency management, and alignment with bottlers and regional teams for seamless execution.
