Bhd. is positioned to provide security solutions and services including Static Guard, Armed Guard, Bodyguard, Tactical Driver and CIT services focusing on delivering high-quality security operations and management to its clients.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Branch Operations Manager located in Johor Bahru. The Branch Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining quality control. This role will also involve developing and implementing operational strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring the efficient operation of the branch.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Management
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee deployment of security personnel at all assigned sites.
 
- Ensure all posts are manned according to contractual requirements and guard strength.
 
- Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure quality service delivery.
 
- Manage scheduling, shift rotations, and manpower shortages efficiently.
 
- Handle incident reports, emergencies, and any operational disruptions promptly.
 
- Lead the response to all security related emergencies and support effective resolution of incident.
 
2. Client & Stakeholder Relations
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
 
- Conduct regular client meetings and resolve any service complaints or issues.
 
- Prepare and submit operational reports, performance summaries, and improvement plans.
 
- Identify opportunities to expand existing contract or secure new client within the branch area.
 
- Prepare client feedback report and improvement action plans.
 
3. Personnel Management
- Supervise Security Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Guards.
 
- Conduct briefing sessions, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when required.
 
- Ensure all guards are trained, uniformed, and equipped as per company standards.
 
- Assist HR in recruitment, onboarding, and deployment of new security personnel.
 
4. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all guards hold valid security licences (LESEN KDN / PLKS) and are medically fit.
 
- Oversee adherence to company SOPs, safety policies, and client-specific requirements.
 
5. Administration & Reporting
- Prepare duty rosters, attendance records, and overtime submissions accurately.
 
- Monitor site performance indicators (incident rates, client complaints, absenteeism, etc.).
 
- Assist in cost control and budgeting for manpower, uniforms, and equipment.
 
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the security industry
 
- Experience in operations management, including staff management and quality control
 
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including managing budgets and resources
 
- Excellent communication, leadership skills and problem-solving skills
 
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies
 
- Familiarity with security operations and services is advantageous
 
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field is preferred
 
- Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks efficiently and respond quickly to operational needs.
 
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and report writing.
 
- Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel frequently between sites.
