Ibnu Sina Wellness Sdn Bhd is seeking a BPS-S Nurse to provide safe and coordinated nursing care across the patient journey. You will conduct patient assessments, administer treatments, monitor progress, and document outcomes.

You will escalate complex cases to the designated doctor and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality care. The role requires a Diploma in Nursing, 3+ years of nursing experience, MNB registration, and an APC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Diploma in Nursing or related field.
• Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB).
• Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Strong medical knowledge and understanding of healthcare practices.
• Competent in patient assessment and vital-sign measurement.

Job description

As a BPS-S Nurse, you will be responsible for providing safe and coordinated nursing care throughout the patient journey. You will conduct patient assessments, administer prescribed treatments, monitor patient progress, maintain accurate clinical documentation, educate patients and families, and coordinate with relevant healthcare professionals. Where a clinical concern requires further assessment or decision-making, you will elevate the matter to the designated doctor, medical practitioner, or other appropriately qualified clinical professional.

Key responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical assessment, and vital-sign measurements.

Identify potential health concerns and communicate relevant findings through the appropriate clinical escalation pathway.

Administer medications, wound care, and other prescribed treatments in accordance with applicable protocols and patient-safety requirements.

Monitor patient condition and progress and identify changes requiring clinical attention.

Escalate clinical concerns promptly to the designated doctor, medical practitioner, or other appropriately qualified clinical professional.

Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation and electronic health records.

Communicate patient observations, concerns, and care updates clearly to the appropriate team members.

Coordinate patient care with doctors, physicians, therapists, customer service personnel, and other healthcare professionals.

Provide patients and families with appropriate education and support regarding health conditions, treatment, and self-care.

Maintain a safe, clean, and appropriate environment for patients and staff.

About you

Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.

Diploma in Nursing or related field.

Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board (MNB).

Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Strong medical knowledge and understanding of healthcare practices.

Competent in patient assessment and vital-sign measurement.

Ability to identify and communicate potential health concerns appropriately.

Strong problem-solving and clinical judgment skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Able to work collaboratively with clinical, customer service, and multidisciplinary teams.
