The ideal candidate will have a Cert IV in Financial Services and over three years of experience in bookkeeping, with strong knowledge of MYOB and Xero software. This role involves preparing compliance reports and performing daily banking activities, contributing to a collaborative team culture while ensuring accuracy and timely financial transactions.

Qualifications

  • Prepare payroll services for clients, including superannuation and STP.

About the Role

As a Bookkeeper in the Financial Services industry, you'll play a vital part in managing records, payments, payroll, and reports that support businesses and individuals. From reconciling accounts to producing compliance reports, you'll ensure accuracy while contributing to a collaborative team culture.

What You'll Bring
  • Cert IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar environment

  • Completion of timesheets for client billing

What You'll Do
  • Record transactions such as income and expenses
  • Post entries to various accounts
Creditor Payments
  • Prepare creditor payments
  • Conduct daily banking activities
Payroll
  • Prepare payroll services for clients, including superannuation and STP
  • Complete full payroll or partial handovers for on-shore Bookkeepers
Reports
  • Prepare BAS compliance reports for ATO lodgement
  • Prepare payroll tax reports
  • Prepare management reports
Ad Hoc
  • Assist with ad hoc bookkeeping duties
