Job summary

IAQ Group is seeking a BIM engineer to develop models across architectural, mechanical, piping, plumbing, and electrical disciplines using Autodesk Revit. You will ensure alignment with the BIM Execution Plan and project workflows while coordinating with other disciplines on design changes.

You will manage BIM technology implementations and deliver quality outputs for construction projects, ensuring changes are communicated clearly to project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using BIM workflows and Revit in construction projects.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate design changes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models.
• Ensure models align with BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines on design changes and model updates.
• Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on construction projects.
• Communicate BIM model changes effectively to project teams.

Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ HVAC/ Mechatronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Job description

• Creating Architectural, Mechanical HVAC, Mechanical Pipe, Plumbing & Sanitary, Process Pipe and/or Electrical models
• Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals set in BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria
• Collaborate and coordinate internally or/ and externally with other disciplines design-changes and model changes
• Manage BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on construction projects
• Understand and ensure any changes in BIM Models are effectively communicated to project teams

Requirements: -

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ HVAC/ Mechatronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years working experience in the construction industry with hands on experience in Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling software
• High level of integrity drives and result oriented
• Able to prioritize and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to multitask, working on several projects at any one time
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to travel outstation/ oversea as and when required
