Job summary

A construction engineering firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a CAD/Mechanical Drafter to handle HVAC and piping system drawings. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience with construction drawings and proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software. This role requires someone with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently under pressure. This position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Must be able to draw and calculate construction drawing and as-built drawings, always keep them updated.
• Prepare drawings for construction, coordinate as-built purposes. Monitor model updates as per site condition changes.
• Provide appropriate information to Engineering Department for drawing preparation and check drawings for correctness and completeness.
• Must be able to fulfil Main Con documents control procedure and able to work independently for any special request by project manager or engineer.
• Proper backup for softcopy drawings.
• Must help project team complete the project schedule without any failure.
• Must help project team fulfil Main Con documents control procedure and work independently for any special request by client and consultant.
• In charge of overall planning, implementation and completion of project drawings.
• Must report to superior on a weekly basis on project drawing issues.
• Liaise with project team and perform site drawing update and actual as-built drawings checklist.
• To assist superior for BQ pick-up.
• Any other related job assigned by superior.
• Perform knowledge and skill for management evaluation.
• Need to be able to station at the site given in Johor.

Qualifications

Can Onboard Immediately

• At least 2 Years of working experience in construction drawing for HVAC, Piping System.
• Have HVAC engineering basic knowledge.
• Required skill(s): AutoCAD software, BIM Software and advanced design drawing.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Mechanical Engineering.
• Candidate will act as a CAD/Mechanical Drafter for this job position.
• Willing to learn and good attitude.
• Able to work overtime.
• Able to travel to any job site if needed.
• Able to work under pressure.

Working time:

• Monday to Saturday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
