Role Overview

The Billing Executive (UAT) is responsible for performing User Acceptance testing (UAT) for Billing Enterprise Services or Products/Ebonding/Ebill. The role involves understanding business requirements, participating in requirement‑gathering sessions, and planning, executing, and validating test scenarios within the testing environment. The incumbent is expected to actively participate in discussions, seek clarification on any unclear requirements, and ensure UAT activities are completed within agreed timelines. The role also requires close collaboration with IT teams to follow up on system issues, proper documentation of test results, preparation of handover materials, and conducting user training when required.

Make an Impact by:

• Analyze the requirement specification and check with the senior testers for any ambiguities. Prepare to clarify with IT/requestor in the requirement gathering’s meeting.
• Prepare test plan for projects prior to start of testing. And discuss with senior on the test plan to ensure completeness.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) by ensuring UAT is done within schedule, record and report defects to IS, and document testing results and update reference documents.
• Monitor progress of testing and provide regular and timely feedback to managers.
• Managing different stakeholders who often have different set of concerns, required timelines.
• Completing testing within tight timelines.

Skills for Success:

• At least Diploma/Bachelor Degree in IT/Computer Science.
• 1-3 years of working experience in UAT or IT related background.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Proficiency in Excel VLOOKUP and Macro.
• RPA experience would be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, eye for detail and meticulous.
• Possess effective communication skills to deal with stakeholders.
• Able to write and communicate clearly in English.
