Job summary

BIG Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant/Sales Assistant for the Cameron Highlands area. You will assist customers, provide product information, and help with stock display and promotions.

You will handle cash/card payments and support a busy retail pharmacy team to deliver excellent customer experiences. The role involves inventory management, pricing updates, and customer service across outlets in the Cameron Highlands region, with opportunities for promotion as the chain grows across

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a retail environment and handle transactions.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and provide product information.
• Display products and manage stock following FEFO/FIFO.
• Process cash and card payments and balance cash register.
• Assist in promotions, pricing, and creating displays.
• Respond to customer inquiries and escalate to pharmacy team when needed.

Duties/Responsibilities (Training Provided)

Customer Assistance: Attend to customers, providing product information, helping them find what they need, and offering advice on product selection.

Product Display: Ensure product visibility and proper display, implementing FEFO and FIFO practices for inventory management.

Inventory Management: Receive incoming goods, store deliveries appropriately, and assist in stock control and management.

Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, referring them to the appropriate pharmacy team member when necessary.

Promotions and Pricing: Attach price tags to products, stay updated on special promotions, and create appealing displays.

Payment Processing: Process cash and card payments accurately and balance the cash register with receipts.
