Job summary

Phillip Wain International in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled Facial Beautician with 1–2 years in the beauty industry to perform a range of facial treatments and conduct thorough skin analysis to identify client needs.

You will advise on skincare products, ensure strict sanitation, and deliver a luxurious, client-centred experience for a female clientele. Fluency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia is required, with shift hours including PH and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in the beauty industry and proven experience as a facial beautician.
• Ability to conduct thorough skincare analysis to identify client needs and recommend treatments/products.
• Deep knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and their benefits to advise clients effectively.
• Exceptional customer service and a passion for creating a luxurious experience for female clientele.
• Strict adherence to sanitation and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment.
• Skilled in client consultation, listening to concerns to tailor treatment plans.
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia to serve a diverse clientele.
• Willing to work on shift hours, public holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of facial treatments tailored to individual client needs, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, anti-aging and acne treatments using high-quality products.
• Conduct thorough skin analysis using diagnostic tools and visual assessment to identify skin types and concerns, recommending appropriate treatments and home care routines.
• Provide expert consultations, listen to client needs, explain treatment options and set realistic expectations for results.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of skincare products and ingredients, recommending and selling retail items to complement treatments.
• Ensure strict sanitation and hygiene protocols, keeping the treatment room clean and equipment sterilized.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service and encouraging repeat bookings.
• Stay updated on latest beauty industry trends and techniques through ongoing learning to enhance service offerings.
