Job summary

JAST B TRADING is seeking a friendly, responsible Barista to join a neighbourhood café team in Malaysia. You will prepare coffee, juices, and other beverages, serve customers, and help with café operations while maintaining cleanliness and organisation.

We welcome fresh graduates and applicants with or without experience; training will be provided. Weekend and public holiday shifts are required, with on-the-job learning opportunities and staff benefits as per company policy.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent required.
• Fresh graduates and candidates without experience are welcome; training will be provided.
• Friendly, responsible and customer-oriented.
• Willing to learn and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Basic communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, juices, instant drinks and other beverages.
• Take customer orders and provide friendly service.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines and café equipment.
• Prepare and serve snacks and pastries when required.
• Keep the counter, beverage station and café clean and organised.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes and hygiene standards.
• Handle cash/payment and basic POS operations.
• Restock ingredients and supplies when needed.
• Work together with the team to ensure smooth daily café operations.
