Job summary

A leading insurance company is seeking an Assistant Manager for Bancassurance Business Development in Kuantan. You will provide sales support for East Coast channels, build relationships with business partners, and ensure business growth. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within the insurance or banking sectors. This role involves travel within the region and focuses on achieving sales targets.

Bancassurance Business Development (East Coast), Assistant Manager

Business Development Assistant Manager - Bancassurance for East Coast (CR & NCR):

To provide sales support for East Coast NCR & CR business distribution channels within the region.

To build close relationships and rapport with the business partner and to ensure continuous business support and future business development.

To assist drive the SME business with CBBC team assigned and ensure the team meet the assigned target.

To provide joint field if necessary to drive Banca business.

Job Responsibilities
  • Implement sales/marketing activities for sales team in order to achieve budget & profitability being set, for all channels in the region (Credit and Non-Credit related).
  • Conduct training/meeting with sales channel and sales team on sales related matter and updating product information / new product briefing/and ensure proper sales process.
  • Provide coaching and support to all sales staff of our business partner under the region/portfolio assigned.
  • Report the daily sales/marketing activities and planning to immediate superior.
  • Keep bankers update on the business submission and information of the products, guidelines and services.
  • Conduct sales verification call upon sales staff's submission and ensure all sales process is in order.
  • Ensure all submission able to turn in to production and do after sales follow up with all the sales staff.
  • Monitor & ensure the region existing cases is persisted and premium payment up to date.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Candidates will be based in Kuantan, covering East Coast portfolio and must be open towards travelling.
  • Preferably with Sales or Business Development experience in Insurance or Bank.
  • Preferably Senior Executive specializing in Sales/ Business Development or experience in managing sales.
