Qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Bahasa Melayu, Linguistics, Education or related field.
  • Possess a valid teaching qualification and credentialing.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian Curriculum Standards and international school expectations.
  • Proficient with digital tools for teaching and learning.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication (IELTS 6+).
  • Able to teach across age groups from young children to teens.
  • Prior experience in international or multilingual environments preferred.
  • Experience teaching Bahasa Melayu per Malaysian Curriculum preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver effective lessons according to the teaching schedule.
  • Address students' diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Conduct assessments, maintain student records, and monitor academic progress.
  • Provide appropriate academic support and guidance to students.
  • Maintain a positive, engaging, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Promote good student discipline, attendance, punctuality, and adherence to school policies.
  • Participate in staff and parent meetings, examinations, invigilation, school events, and co‑curricular activities.
  • Support school programmes and supervisory duties, including activities outside regular hours when required.
  • Assist the Principal and school management with administrative and teaching‑related matters.
  • Prepare and submit required teaching documents and reports.
  • Participate in professional development programmes and undertake other duties assigned by the Principal or Head of Department.
