Backend Ruby-Rails Dev (Work from Home, AU)

We are a Sydney-based health-tech software company, and our mission is to deliver Digital Health to clinics and patients. In this exciting phase of growth, we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our ever-growing team. We are currently hiring back-end dev, the role is full-time contractor. We are also hiring a full-stack/frontend dev, too!

Our team works extremely hard to deliver the best-in-class software solution; we love working on new features, polishing old features and creating an app that is rock solid through automated testing. For the backend role: development of our data import processes for new customers.

Work closely with our talented individuals, who all share a common goal and grow with us technically and with the many long term career options available.

Requirements:

• 4+ years in Ruby (RoR v5.x), Typescript
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
• 5+ years commercial experience in building web applications
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with CSV parsing, Active Record import, and AWS S3 is a bonus
• Experience with Git version control.
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

Hours:

Full-time, 40 hours

Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm AEST
