Job summary

Questchem in Malaysia is seeking a Backend/Full-Stack Developer to join the tech team. The role involves building scalable backend services and collaborating with product and engineering across the full software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proficient in at least one modern programming language (Java, Go, Python, PHP, or React).
• Strong software development fundamentals, OOP, data structures, APIs, and databases.
• Experience with Git/version control and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and backend services.
• Develop scalable APIs, services, and components.
• Participate in full SDLC: requirements, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to system architecture and best practices.
