Mesiniaga Berhad, an established Information & Communication Technology company, is seeking a talented Backend Developer (Python / Django REST Framework) to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend services for ourenterprise ticketing and operations system, integrating real-time communication and automation features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services usingPython andDjango REST Framework (DRF).
• Design and optimizeRESTful APIs for integration with web and mobile applications.
• Build and manageasynchronous task processing withCelery, Redis, and potentiallyRabbitMQ.
• Manage and optimizePostgreSQL databases.
• Participate inUAT, testing, deployment, and monitoring of backend systems.
• SupportDocker-based development and deployment environments.
• Collaborate closely with frontend and mobile teams to ensure seamless system integration.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
