Job Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and guide the Modern Trade and General Trade sales teams to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Set clear performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews, ensuring team alignment with company direction.
- Build a strong sales culture focused on execution excellence, customer relationship building, and results.
Channel & Account Management
- Drive growth across Modern Trade and General Trade channels by expanding productlistings, distribution, and in-store execution.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key buyers, category managers, and distributorsto achieve win-win partnerships.
- Negotiate trading terms, pricing, and promotional agreements in line with company strategy.
- Identify and onboard new business opportunities and accounts to expand market coverageand category penetration.
Trade Marketing & Activation
- Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute trade marketing activities that enhance brand visibility and conversion.
- Strategize and implement effective in-store promotions, planograms, displays, and sampling activities.
- Manage A&P (Advertising & Promotion) budgets to ensure efficient spending and measurable returns.
- Track and evaluate trade marketing effectiveness through sales uplift, ROI, and marketfeedback.
Sales Planning & Operations
- Develop and monitor channel sales plans, ensuring alignment with overall company targetsand brand strategies.
- Collaborate with supply chain and marketing teams for accurate demand planning, stockavailability, and timely execution of trade programs.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and category performance to guide salesstrategy and tactical decisions.
Reporting & Business Insights
- Provide timely sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
- Monitor sales performance by channel, keyaccount, and product category to identify gapsand corrective actions.
- Offer data-driven insights and recommendations to improve sales productivity and channelprofitability.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
- Minimum 6-10 yearsof FMCG sales experience, with proven success managing both ModernTrade and General Trade channels.
- Experience in trade marketing planning and execution.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Analytical, structured, and hands-on in driving results.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and sales reporting tools.
- Willing to travel for market visits and customer meetings.
Remuneration:
MYR 15,000 - MYR 18,000
