The role
  • Your primary responsibility is to generate and qualify leads in support of our AWS sales engine in SoftwareOne.
  • Ability to drive a prescribed cadence of outbound activity via telesales, emails, social and other media.
  • Drive lead generation process, supporting marketing campaigns and qualify leads from marketing activities.
  • Identify prospect needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Manage, coordinate, and prioritize leads efficiently and qualify opportunities and transition to a Business Development Director.
  • Follow the sales process diligently including entering and maintaining opportunities in CRM.
  • Partner with the country and regional AWS BU team to establish and execute the go to market strategy.
  • Be part of a high potential and growth team driving the AWS business in the region.
What we need to see from you
  • Basic knowledge of cloud technology.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of prior experience in inbound and outbound sales and inquiries.
  • Ability to communicate and articulate well in both English and Malay languages as you will be supporting customer base in Malay.
  • Strong background and attainment in a pipeline generation (top of the funnel) role.
  • Familiarity navigating AWS (teams, programs, nomenclature).
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and aligned with SoftwareOne values.
