Role Overview

We are seeking a high‑calibre investment professional to join our team as AVP, Private Markets Origination. This is a front‑office role responsible for originating, structuring, and bringing to market private market investment opportunities across private credit, private equity, real assets, and alternative investments.

This role is suited for a commercially driven professional who combines strong financial structuring skills with relationship‑building ability and enjoys owning transactions end‑to‑end — from idea generation to product launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate private market investment opportunities across private credit, private equity, real assets, and structured investments.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporates, sponsors, fund managers, and advisors to develop a strong deal pipeline.
• Structure and commercialise investment opportunities into market‑ready products with attractive risk‑return profiles.
• Lead transactions from origination through execution, working closely with internal risk, legal, compliance, and product teams.
• Support the development and launch of investment products for investor distribution.
• Monitor market trends and contribute to the firm’s private markets strategy and product pipeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline.
• CFA charterholder or CFA Level II/III candidate strongly preferred.
• 6–10 years of experience in investment banking, private credit, private equity, structured finance, asset management, or private markets platforms.
• Proven experience in deal origination, transaction structuring, and execution.
• Strong financial modelling and structuring capabilities across debt and alternative investment products.
• Commercial mindset with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with risk, legal, compliance and distribution teams.
