Job Description
- Achieve department and team budget targets, including profit and product volumes.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Complete tasks, such as credit application, monitoring, instruction response, KYC, and financial transactions, in a timely manner.
- Support daily operations by implementing and initiating projects.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant rules and risk appetites in SMBCMY, SMBC Head Office and regulatory requirements (e.g., FEN, SCEL, Large Loans, Connected Parties, CCRIS Front‑end reporting, KYC/AML procedures).
- Provide timely and comprehensive reporting on irregular events, including customer complaints, information leakage, operational incidents, and credit deterioration, and conduct root‑cause analysis with remedial measures.
Job Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business Management or equivalent; AICB qualification is an added advantage.
- Preferable 2–6 years of banking experience with commercial/corporate customers.
- Knowledge of banking products, including trade and derivatives, is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with strong command of English, both written and spoken; Japanese and Korean language skills are an added advantage.
- Outgoing, result‑oriented, self‑motivated and resourceful.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a strong team player.
