Job summary

A global leader in automotive solutions is seeking a Project Quality Engineer based in Ulu Tiram, Johor. The candidate will be responsible for developing Quality Plans for new projects, conducting risk analysis, and supporting supplier quality management. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with 3–5 years of experience in project quality engineering and strong familiarity with automotive industry standards like ISO/IATF 16949. A proactive problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in project quality engineering in automotive or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and SPC.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IATF 16949 standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Quality Plans (QAP) for new projects.
  • Conduct risk analysis, process audits, and FMEA.
  • Support supplier quality management and part approval process (PPAP).
  • Coordinate validation and verification of new products and processes.
  • Track project quality KPIs and report status to project stakeholders.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and corrective actions during project execution.
