Job summary

PSS Tyre Automobile Sdn Bhd in Kajang is seeking an experienced Automobile Mechanic to join our tyre shop, focusing on repair and maintenance services. You will inspect engines, mechanical and electrical components and diagnose issues to ensure vehicles run smoothly.

The ideal candidate holds at least an SPM or equivalent and has 5 years of hands-on auto mechanic experience in tyre shop settings, with strong knowledge of diagnostics and vehicle electronic systems.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Automobile Mechanic to join our dynamic team at PSS Tyre Automobile Sdn Bhd, a tyre shop specialising in repair and maintenance services.

Key responsibilities

Inspect vehicle engine, mechanical and electrical components

Diagnose issues timely and accurately

Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems

Conduct regular maintenance work such as replacing fluids, lubricating parts

Advise motorists on good vehicle use and offer products and services

Build relationships with clients and act as an advisor for car maintenance

Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

About you

Possess at least SPM level (Secondary School Graduate) or equivalent qualification

5 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic or similar role

Proven experience working in the tyre shop industry

Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles

5 years of experience with vehicle diagnostic systems and methods

Ability to handle various tools and multi-task

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
