Job summary

FWD TIM in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join the automation and QA team. You will design, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Python, Selenium and Appium, and report results to stakeholders.

You will collaborate with BA, development and IT teams to ensure quality across core insurance systems, deliver end-to-end automation solutions, and support UAT/SIT testing with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or similar is preferred.
• Tester or automation experience is an advantage; insurance industry experience is a plus.
• Familiar with Python, Selenium and Appium mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Create test data required to perform UAT/SIT.
• Able to use existing automation tools to execute large or complex cases and summarize results.
• Debug and enhance automation scripts based on requirements.
• Execute test scripts and document defects to support project rollout.
• Provide end-to-end automation solutions for insurance systems and data flows.
