A leading nitrile glove manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a Technician for Engineering, Control & Instrumentation. The ideal candidate will ensure safety procedures are followed and execute maintenance activities, including inspections and calibrations of plant systems. Candidates with a diploma in Engineering are preferred, with prior experience in utilities and maintenance, although fresh graduates with a positive attitude are encouraged. Qualifications

• Prior experience in utilities and maintenance (at least 1 year) or fresh graduates with good attitude and initiative.
• Ability to understand wiring/loop drawings.
• Can work under pressure and meet job deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Execute control system and instrumentation activities in the plant.
• Carry out daily inspection of control and instrumentation of the plant.
• Supervise plant machinery or equipment breakdown.
• Execute instrumentation calibration according to required accuracy and frequency.
• Involve in control system continuous improvement plan.
• Involve in installation and testing of new control system and instrumentation.
• Report on engineering matters including repairs, personnel needs, spare parts, and supplies.
• Learn operational knowledge of all control systems and instrumentation of the plant.
• Follow quality system procedures and work instructions.

Skills

Troubleshooting skills on PLC & Instrumentation

Knowledge on PLC (Siemens, Fatek)

Basic wiring & mechanical parts installation

Ability to speak and write in Bahasa Melayu and English

Education

Diploma or Certificate in Engineering (Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical)
