Job summary

JX & Associates PLT in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a detail-oriented accounting graduate to support audit and tax engagements. You will collaborate with clients to gather data, perform analytical reviews, and assist in drafting audit reports.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with opportunities to work across multiple assignments and tax computations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualification in Accounting or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep updated on current developments in accounting and auditing standards, tax law, and other relevant standards.
• Communicate with clients to obtain data and information related to the audit.
• Detailed analytical reviews of financial statements and reports.
• Execute audit procedures as defined by engagement objectives and planned audit approach.
• Communicate and discuss potential audit issues with Managers and Partners.
• Prepare tax computations for audited reports.
• Prepare draft audit reports in accordance with MPERS/MFRS and other statutory disclosures.
• Handle multiple audit and tax assignments.
• Review unaudited financial statements when needed.
