Job summary

A leading auditing firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced auditor to perform statutory audits and manage audit engagements. The ideal candidate has a diploma or bachelor's degree in accountancy and at least 2 years of audit experience. Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and excellent communication skills are essential for engaging with various stakeholders. Training will be provided, and proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform statutory audit work and ensure compliance with audit standards.
• Audit experience preferably in Singapore is more advantageous.
• Manage audit engagements to ensure deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
• Identify and communicate auditing matters with the manager/partner.
• Assist in preparing audit reports and maintaining long‑term relationships with key clients, ensuring to meet the client's needs.
• Work effectively as a team member; sharing audit knowledge with team members is essential.
• Handle any other job tasks assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in accountancy.
• Minimum 2 years audit experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards in Singapore will be more advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and strong cooperation to engage with various internal and external stakeholders. Must be a team player.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and excel under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
