Job summary

A professional services firm is seeking an Audit Semi-Senior to manage audit assignments, prepare financial statements, and lead junior auditors. Candidates must have relevant qualifications such as ACCA or MICPA and possess strong communication skills. Fresh graduates with a proactive attitude are encouraged to apply. This position is located in Kampung Selayang Baru, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related working experience for audit semi-senior.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply as audit juniors.
• Malaysian citizens only.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of statutory audit assignments for clients.
• Prepare audit working papers and financial statements.
• Analyse and highlight risk areas for audit planning.
• Prepare tax computations and deferred taxation.
• Complete assignments independently and lead audit juniors.
• Liaise with clients on audit assignments.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Take charge of statutory audit assignments for clients ranging from various industries.
• Finishing and preparing of audit working papers and audited financial statements.
• Able to analyse and to highlight the risk area of attention for auditing planning.
• Preparing of tax computation and deferred taxation as provision to the financial statement.
• Able to complete the assignment independently with minimum supervision and lead audit juniors on small assignment.
• Liaise with clients on all aspects of audit assignments.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess full or part professional qualification of ACCA or MICPA, bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent. At least 1- 2 years of related working experience for audit semi-senior. Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply as audit junior. Those with extensive experience but without necessary qualification are also encouraged to apply. Good communication skills, mature, pleasant personality and have good attitude towards work. Highly motivated with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines. Computer literate and knowledge on Audit Express software is an advantage. Proficient in MS. Office and Ms. Excel. Able to work on deadline-drive environment. Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.
