A leading auditing firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Audit Semi Senior to perform and lead financial audits for local and international clients. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in auditing, is proficient in CaseWare, and possesses strong communication skills. Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar audit position.
• Knowledge of CaseWare and prior experience with consolidations are considered assets.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead financial audits of local and international clients.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead financial audits of local and international clients in accordance with International Standards on Auditing to obtain evidence for audit opinions.
• Execute audits as planned and communicate promptly issues encountered with managers or partners.
• Conduct pre-audit planning, audit tests, and review of clients’ accounting procedures.
• Review audit documentation, prepare supporting documents, and prepare financial statements.
• Initiate billing processes and assist in collections.
• Interact with clients and manage the field audit approach together with the Supervisor/Manager.
• Train and guide junior staff on procedures, documentation, and compliance matters.

Requirements and Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar audit position.
• Knowledge of CaseWare and prior experience with consolidations are considered assets.
• Effective communication skills within an audit team.
• Independent, proactive, flexible, and committed.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.
