Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Review audit working papers to ensure compliance with MPERS/MFRS and ISAs.
• Perform risk assessment, materiality setting, and develop audit programs.
• Review financial statements and audit disclosures.
• Guide and supervise audit juniors and assistants.
• Liaise with clients, directors, and bankers.
• Identify audit issues and provide value-added recommendations.
• Ensure deadlines are met and documentation is properly completed.
• Assist in resolving technical accounting and tax matters.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics.

• Review audit working papers prepared by team members to ensure compliance with MPERS/MFRS and ISAs.
• Perform risk assessment, materiality setting, and develop audit programs.
• Review financial statements, notes, tax computations, and audit disclosures.
• Guide and supervise audit juniors and assistants; provide on-the-job training.
• Liaise with clients, directors, and bankers — handle queries professionally.
• Identify audit issues, propose solutions, and provide value-added recommendations.
• Ensure deadlines are met and documentation is properly completed.
• Assist in resolving technical accounting and tax matters.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics at all times.

Junior Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing audit fieldwork under supervision.
• Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Perform vouching, verification of balances, analytical review, and tests of controls.
• Assist in drafting financial statements and simple tax computations.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper filing of audit documentation.
• Communicate with clients to obtain required information.
• Learn and follow audit methodologies and firm procedures.
• Support seniors/managers on assigned tasks.
