Job summary

TGS TW PLT in Malaysia's Penang is seeking an Audit Associate to join our external audit team. You will participate in full audit cycles, perform tests on financial statements, and prepare working papers, with guidance from engagement teams.

Candidates should have professional accounting qualification or degree in accounting/finance, 1–3 years' external audit experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a good command of English.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification or degree in accounting/finance/business studies or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in External Audit Services or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.
• Good communication, interpersonal and report writing skill.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Involve in full audit cycle: planning, fieldwork, reporting and audit file completion.
• Perform audit testing on financial statements in accordance with auditing standards.
• Prepare audit working papers and supporting schedules.
• Communicate with clients and team members to obtain information and resolve issues.
• Work as a team member and support engagement team as required
• Perform ad-hoc assignments such as due diligence, IPO exercises and other corporate matters
