Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple audit assignments from planning through completion, ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with professional and regulatory standards (ISA, IFRS, and local requirements).
  • Review and finalise audit working papers and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for all audit and assurance matters.
  • Identify areas of business risk and provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor audit team members to ensure effective performance and professional growth.
  • Coordinate with partners and senior management in audit planning, resource allocation, and engagement management. Monitor audit budgets and ensure engagements are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Support the development and implementation of audit methodologies and quality control processes.
  • Keep up to date with changes in audit regulations, accounting standards, and industry practices.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including client proposals and presentations.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of audit experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
