Job summary

Leopad Group of Companies in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Auditor to perform financial and operational audits, plan and execute assignments, review statements, test controls, and prepare working papers and reports. You will liaise with clients and mentor juniors while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (ACCA/CPA/CA an advantage), with hands-on auditing experience, strong analytical abilities, and excellent

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in finance and auditing, capable of applying financial knowledge to planning, analysis and reporting.
• Proficient in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Hands-on auditing experience in a corporate environment preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends, assess risks, evaluate internal controls, and provide practical recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple audit assignments and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial and operational audits aligned with professional standards and company policies.
• Plan, execute, and complete audit assignments within required timelines.
• Review financial statements and supporting documents.
• Test and evaluate internal controls; identify risk areas.
• Prepare audit working papers, documentation and reports.
• Analyse audit findings and recommend improvements to processes and controls.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to obtain necessary audit information.
• Assist in audit planning, scheduling and engagement management.
• Mentor junior audit team members and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
