Responsibilities

• Perform financial audits for clients in accordance with auditing standards.
• Execute the audit as planned and communicate issues to management.
• Conduct pre-audit planning for engagements.
• Review clients’ accounting procedures.
• Initiate billing processes and assist in collections.
• Conduct audit tests and review documentation.
• Prepare financial statements and manage field audits with supervisors.
• Train junior staff on procedures and compliance.

Job description

What You'll Do

• The selected candidate will be responsible for performing and leading the financial audits of their local and international clients in accordance with International Standards on Auditing, in order to obtain the required evidence to issue an appropriate audit opinion.
• To execute the audit as planned and communicate promptly on issues encountered with the manager/partner
• Pre-audit planning for audit engagements.
• Reviewing of their clients’ accounting procedures.
• To initiate the billing process and assist in the collection.
• Conducting audit tests.
• Reviewing audit documentation and preparation of documentation to support audit jobs.
• Preparation of financial statements.
• Interacting with their clients and managing the field audit approach together with the Supervisor/Manager.
• To train and guide junior staff in understanding procedures, documentation, and compliance matters.
