Job summary

Ivan & Ho PLT Chartered Accountants in Malaysia seeks one or more audit professionals to work under experienced managers and partners. This role offers learning opportunities in Audit and Taxation, study leave for professional exams, and pathways towards MIA, ACCA, CTIM, and other memberships.

Responsibilities include conducting audit engagements, planning and finalizing assignments, leading audit teams, coaching juniors, reviewing working papers, and liaising with clients and tax agents.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy and/or partial professional qualification in related field.
• Partial professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Familiar with applicable reporting standards in Malaysia and Companies Act 2016, and Income Tax Act.
• Experience in supervising and coaching junior staff members.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out audit engagement in an independent, efficient and professional manner.
• Assist in planning, execution and finalization of audit assignments for manager or partner's review.
• Plan, delegate and lead a team of auditors and provide coaching for juniors.
• Review audit working papers and audited financial statements to ensure audit is carried out in accordance with auditing standards.
• Liaise with clients, affiliates and tax agents as needed.
