Job summary

EPS Malaysia is seeking a junior Audit Assistant to support the engagement team with project administration. You will submit work for review on time and update progress regularly, helping keep audits on schedule.

Ideal candidates have degree studies in accounting or finance, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, plus knowledge of audit software. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree studies in accounting/financial or its equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of Audit software.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
• Able to work independently and multi-task as well as a good team player.
• Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist engagement team on administration work of projects
• Submit work for review according to planned timeline and follow up review points on timely basis
• Communicate with the clients on the issues arising during the audit
• Complete the assigned tasks according to timelines set by engagement team
• Update project progress on timely basis
