Job description

PA Corporate Support Sdn. Bhd. – Sunway, Selangor

Compile and analyze account information, encompassing assets, liabilities, incomes, and expense account entries.

Accurately record account and financial transactions in alignment with verified documents.

Manage engagements from the planning phase through completion, ensuring alignment with the planned budget and agreed-upon timing with the client.

Verify and document working papers, including assessing the client's internal control environment and conducting tests of controls, as well as attending inventory counts.

Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring compliance with the statutory disclosure requirements of the Companies Act and approved accounting / statutory compliance standards in Malaysia/Singapore.

Keep clients updated on all relevant submissions, including accounting / statutory compliance, tax, SST/GST, and more, before the due dates.

Strategically plan schedules and timetables to complete assigned tasks and meet submission deadlines.

Assist superior in identifying accounting issues and reporting exceptions noted from the financial statements via sampling and vouching.

Manage multiple accounting / auditing assignments under supervision.

Cultivate client relationships and strive to achieve high client satisfaction and retention.

Develop strong problem-solving skills and provide well-informed management recommendations based on industry research, insightful analysis, and investigation.

Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant audit experience.
  • Possess a recognized degree in accounting and/or professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Exhibit the ability to work collaboratively as a team player and take responsibility for deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate proactivity, resourcefulness, innovation, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Commit to a minimum 18-month tenure with an enhanced compensation package.
