Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Accountancy/Finance candidate for external auditing with 1–2 years of experience. Candidates pursuing LCCI/ACCA/ Diploma/ Degree are encouraged to apply.

Based in Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, you will plan and execute statutory audits across varied industries, using MFRS/MPERS and ABOT audit software. The role emphasizes client relationships, teamwork, and professional growth, especially during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing LCCI, ACCA, diploma or degree in Accountancy/Finance.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant external auditing experience.
• Knowledge of MFRS/MPERS and auditing standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in peak periods.
• Strong client-relationship and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• To undertake the planning and execution of statutory audits of companies in varied industries in accordance approved standards on auditing in Malaysia.
• Performing tests of controls, audit testing, and preparation of audit paperwork and relevant documentation in accordance with standards and requirements.
• Review work performed by team members and provide constructive feedback, coaching and mentoring.
• Liaise with clients to address queries, resolve issues, and provide value-added recommendations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless audit engagements
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards, and incorporating them into audit procedures.
• Handle ad hoc assignments as required by management.
