We are seeking a highly motivated Audit Associate to join our dynamic team at Jamal, Amin & Partners Kuantan. As an Audit Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive audit services to our diverse clientele based in Kuantan District, Pahang. What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements and internal control systems for a range of clients

Analyzing financial data, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to accounting practices and internal controls

Preparing detailed audit reports, work papers, and other documentation to support audit findings

Collaborating with the audit team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of audit engagements

Providing exceptional client service by addressing inquiries and addressing client concerns promptly

Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

1-3 years of experience in external auditing or a similar role, preferably in a public accounting firm

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex financial and operational issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Proficiency in the use of audit software, spreadsheet applications, and other relevant technology
